"Fieldes Have Eies and Woods Have Eares" Print
Linocut print on 11x14 archival printmaking paper. Green Cranfield Oil Based ink print. The calligraphy is written with wild crafted shaggy mane mushroom ink.
I make my linocut prints by hand carving the reverse of an image on a linoleum block. Then I use this block to stamp the image onto a page.
I ship these in clear plastic with a hard back, inside a rigid mailer.

Shaggy manes are mushrooms which melt into a delightful ink after blooming. My husband brought me some one day, because he is sweet like that. After they melted in a jar for a few weeks, they smelled like old fish, but the ink was beautiful (never fear, the ink doesn’t smell once it is dry).
